Bukhara Region Hokim Botir Zaripov met with a delegation led by Kim Hak-hong, Deputy Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do province of Korea.

At the meeting, the relations between the two countries were highly assessed. Views were exchanged on the project’s objectives and areas envisaged for implementation in cooperation with Daegu Haany University.

Botir Zaripov welcomed the guests upon their arrival in Bukhara and noted that the planned project will bring cooperation between Bukhara and the Gyeongsangbuk-do province to a new stage and will be of great importance in the development of social spheres, medicine, and pharmaceuticals. He expressed his readiness to support this initiative.

Kim Hak-hong thanked Bukhara Region Hokim for the sincere welcome and cooperation. He noted that the implementation of the project will enhance collaboration, and the initiative, which meets the interests of both parties, will yield positive results in the development of traditional medicine.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed following the meeting.
