Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur Ravshan Usmanov met with the Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) Norhalim Yunus.

Within the framework of the meeting, issues of further development of bilateral cooperation on implementation of joint projects in the field of research and commercialization of their results, as well as establishing cooperation with the innovative technology park “Khorazm” at Urgench State University were discussed.

Following the negotiations, agreements were reached on holding a videoconference with representatives of Khorazm technopark to discuss specific areas of cooperation, developing a technopark concept indicating the main areas of activity, equipping the technopark with necessary equipment, conducting joint workshops, financing promising research projects being implemented in the technopark.
