Uzbekistan receives international recognition in technical regulation

Uzbekistan Scientific Testing and Quality Control Center has been granted associate membership in the International IQNet Certification Network.

This is a significant step towards recognizing the management systems implemented in Uzbekistan at the international level and increasing the country’s export potential. This status enables the center to actively participate in IQNet activities, expand opportunities for international exchange of experience and cooperation, and enhance its visibility.

The IQNet International Certification Network was founded in 1990 and unites 36 leading management system certification bodies. Over 310,000 certificates have been registered in more than 150 countries, representing almost 30 percent of the global market. IQNet members include reputable certification bodies from Spain, France, Germany, Japan, China, Korea, Türkiye, Switzerland, and several other countries. The network also includes over 17,000 international auditors and experts who can conduct audits in more than 30 languages.

According to experts, membership in the IQNet network will ensure the recognition of management systems implemented in Uzbekistan in the export markets. This will enhance the country’s position in global quality indices and help train qualified personnel in accordance with international standards. Membership in this organization will also play an essential role in developing trade relations and increasing customer trust.
