
As part of the Uzbek Culture Days, cultural events were held at the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris and the adjacent Place du Châtelet, showcasing the finest examples of regional traditions from across Uzbekistan, as well as national music, dance, and vocal art.
The concert program featured performances by People’s Artist of Uzbekistan and artistic director of the “Lazgi” ensemble at the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan, Agabek Sobirov, Merited Artists Nodira Pirmatova and Yulduz Turdiyeva, the “Tumor” and “Bahor” ensembles, Injigul Saburova of the Yunus Rajabi Uzbek National Institute of Music, and Janibek Piyazov from the Karakalpak branch of the State Philharmonic. Their performances left a deep impression on the French audience.
