
The Uzbekistan – Oman Business Forum took place in the Sultanate of Oman to expand trade and investment exchanges and explore both countries’ export and import potential. The details of the forum, held at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry headquarters, were extensively covered by the Oman News Agency.
The forum was organized as part of a delegation visit to Oman, consisting of around 20 women representing sectors such as real estate, design, textiles, private education, and healthcare, led by Nodira Shotursunova, an official representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Oman, Abdusalom Khotamov, emphasized that the event aimed to strengthen trade and economic ties, promote women’s entrepreneurship and innovation, and support business partnerships.
OCCI Board Member and Head of Tourism Committee, Ms. Siham bint Ahmed al Harthi, noted that this large-scale forum, where key areas of cooperation and opportunities across various industries are discussed, is being held for the first time.
Bilateral meetings were organized as part of the forum, focusing on expanding cooperation, strengthening trade relations, and exchanging experience and information.
