Uzbekistan moves up 11 positions in the Integrated Index for Postal Development

Uzbekistan has improved its standing in the Integrated Index for Postal Development.

According to the Universal Postal Union's (UPU) Integrated Index for Postal Development 2IPD, Uzbekistan ranked 64th among 181 states, moving up 11 positions compared to the previous result. Previously, Uzbekistan ranked 75th.

The positive development dynamics of Uzbekistan's postal sector had also been noted in previous years. In 2023, according to the Universal Postal Union’s report, Uzbekiston Pochtasi JSC improved its standing, climbing from 115th to 74th place.

The recognition of Uzbekistan as a “Rising Star” in the development of postal communications at the IV Extraordinary Congress of the Universal Postal Union, held on October 5, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, became another achievement.

Uzbekistan’s 11-position rise in the international ranking reflects the country's consistent efforts to improve the national postal system and strengthen its position within the global postal network.
