Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiyev met with the Ambassador of Mongolia to Uzbekistan, Daadankhuu Batbaatar, and CEO of the Mongolian airline Hunnu Air, Munkhjargal Purevjal.

According to the Tourism Committee, detailed information was provided during the meeting on Uzbekistan’s ongoing efforts to develop the tourism sector, increase the flow of both international and domestic tourists, and create favorable conditions for private entrepreneurs operating in this field. Particular emphasis was placed on implementing the directives and objectives the Head of State set to expand cooperation with Mongolia and strengthen ties in tourism.

The Mongolian side, in turn, highly praised the large-scale reforms being carried out by the Government of Uzbekistan and shared its own experience in developing tourism infrastructure.

The parties highlighted the importance of establishing direct air routes between the two countries to strengthen cooperation in tourism and increase the number of tourists.
