The delegation of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives of Malaysia, Ramanan Ramakrishnan, in Kuala Lumpur.

Issues of supporting small and medium-sized businesses, developing entrepreneurship, and implementing the principles of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) were discussed at the meeting.

The parties focused on developing the Halal certification system, expanding cooperation in tourism, and exchanging experiences between the two country’s entrepreneurs.

An agreement was reached on the organization of systematic workshops and mutual visits.

It was emphasized that this cooperation will contribute to the further strengthening of economic relations between the two countries and is essential for sustainable development.
