
The delegation of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy of Malaysia, Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib, in Kuala Lumpur.
At the meeting, Malaysia’s successful experience in ensuring sustainable economic growth, effective resource management, developing renewable energy sources, and stimulating the regional economy was discussed in detail.

The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the green economy, the implementation of joint projects to expand the use of renewable energy sources, and the development of strategies to adapt to climate change and reduce carbon emissions. Views were also exchanged on the technology transfer, the integration of scientific research into the economy, and the development of digital solutions, workshops, and training for the exchange of experience in training young professionals while systematically taking into account the dynamics of the labor market.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue regular dialogue and expand partnership in key areas that mutually benefit both countries.
Such cooperation creates a significant platform for implementing Uzbekistan’s strategy for the transition to a green economy by 2030, based on the integration of international experience and resources.
