On December 5, 2019, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov met with representatives of Eximbank Malaysia to discuss further development of cooperation in the interbank sphere.

At the meeting, the Malaysian side was informed about ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan in economic development, industry, financial services, liberalization of foreign exchange policy, creating the best conditions for doing business.

Following the negotiations, agreements were reached on considering the possibility of allocating a preferential credit line for development of small and medium-sized business in Uzbekistan, studying of joint financing of promising and export-oriented projects with Uzbekistan banks.
