More than sixty students from the Republic of Korea visited Uzbekistan as part of the International Winter School 2024 program.

Based on cooperation between the two countries in education, special summer and winter school programs have been organized for students at Ajou universities in South Korea and Tashkent city.

Professor Saodat Davlatova and choreographer Gulandon Kuronboyeva gave lectures at Ajou University in Tashkent to introduce Korean students to Uzbekistan’s history, culture, and dance art. Members of the delegation took a tour of the sights of the capital. They visited the Hazrati Imam complex, the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, and the Tashkent TV Tower.

During the trip to Samarkand, students visited Registan Square, the mausoleums of Amir Temur and Bibi Khanum, and the Shakhi Zinda complex.

The guests also got acquainted with the activities of several organizations operating in the country, including the representative offices of UNICEF, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and the Korea International Cooperation Agency in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan made a great impression on young people from the Republic of Korea
