On December 21, 2023, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev in Tashkent. Issues of further strengthening friendship, good neighborliness, large-scale strategic partnership between the two countries, and enriching cooperation with concrete content were discussed at the meeting.

Today, relations between friendly countries, including media cooperation, are developing rapidly. Strong links have been established in information and experience exchange. I am sure that this will significantly complement collaboration in political, economic, cultural, and other spheres. The cooperation of the media, especially UzA and Kabar news agencies, is the best tool for further studying the common history, traditions, and culture of the two peoples and our rich heritage.

The creative industry representatives, in particular, journalists, are selfless people. They always carefully study events taking place regarding their impact on the life and way of people’s lives.

With great satisfaction, bilateral cooperation between our countries is reaching a high level and becoming more fruitful. In particular, dialogue and exchanges at the level of parliaments, governments, regions, businesses, and public circles have significantly intensified. The two countries are closely linked by a long-term common history, culture, language, and harmony of spiritual values.

I think that in the coming year, 2024, cooperation between our countries will continue to strengthen.
