An important political process – the Elections of Deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and Local Councils took place in Uzbekistan on October 27.

In this regard, media representatives from several countries visited Uzbekistan. One of them, Mederbek Shermetaliev, the Director of Kyrgyz National News Agency Kabar, visited the Uzbekistan National News Agency.

The parties noted the need to develop relations between the two countries’ leading news agencies in accordance with the current requirements.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the expediency of taking measures to expand the scale of information exchange and systematically improve employees’ experience and qualifications. The renewed Memorandum of Understanding was also signed.

– Today, it is essential to disseminate impartial and reliable information about the reforms being implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan, – Mr. Mederbek Shermetaliev said. – In this sense, we have agreed with the leadership of Uzbekistan National News Agency to enhance the partnership. It should be noted that Uzbekistan citizens are very actively involved in the political process. I wish the fraternal Uzbekistan people peace, prosperity, and well-being.
