Hokim of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzokov, Chairman of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Samad Hassanzadeh, and members of the Iranian delegation discussed the broad potential for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran.

Particular attention was paid to the attractiveness of Tashkent for business and cooperation in ecology, economics, culture, medicine, and education. Mr. Umurzokov informed about the supply conditions, logistics in the Special Industrial Zone “Yangi Avlod”.

Mr. Samad Hassanzadeh focused on developing trade and economic relations between Tashkent and Iran and proposed cooperation in urban development, the textile industry, and the restoration of historical monuments.
