Tashkent hosted a meeting between Tashkent City Hokimiyat and Thüringen Recycling GmbH and ZM Vakuum GmbH representatives.

At the event, the guests were informed about the vast opportunities created in Uzbekistan for local and foreign investors. The expediency of strengthening cooperation in urban planning, processing of industrial and household waste, green energy, and sustainable development was noted.

New promising projects are being implemented in the country with companies from Germany. In particular, agreements are being successfully implemented, and all conditions have been created for entrepreneurs from Germany.

Thüringen Recycling GmbH representative Lars Kossack expressed great interest in cooperating with Tashkent and noted that the interests of both countries are served not only by trade-economic and investment relations between Tashkent and Thuringia but also by the further development of green energy, the economy, and other industries.

The participants became familiar with Thuringia’s experience in waste collection, processing and storage, and the possibilities of its implementation in Tashkent and Tashkent region.

The parties agreed to continue mutually beneficial meetings.
