Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shodiyev and Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of Georgia in Uzbekistan David Kotaria discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in tourism.

The Georgian side was informed of the large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan in recent years.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to increasing the tourist flow from Georgia to Uzbekistan.

An agreement was reached to intensify cooperation in expanding mutual participation in tourism promotions, improving the industry, including creating an attractive environment for tourists, investors, and business circles, and exchanging experiences between countries in this direction.
