Tashkent hosted team competitions on the last day of the Youth Sabre Fencing World Cup.

Uzbekistan women’s team consisting of Ayakoz Jumamuratova, Guliston Perdibayeva, Samira Shakirova, and Tulkinay Bekbauliyeva competed with the teams of Bulgaria, Hungary, Hong Kong, China, Kazakhstan, Romania, Türkiye, and Poland. Having won the final victory over the Bulgarian team with a score of 45:31, Uzbekistan athletes became the winner of the Cup.

The men’s team, consisting of Islombek Abdazov, Sardor Abdukarimbekov, Zukhriddin Qodirov, and Alpamis Urakbayev, beat the Kazakhstan team by 45:35 and won the gold medal.

Uzbekistan team member Luisa Fernanda Herrera Lara won the gold medal in women’s singles, and in men’s singles, Islambek Abdazov won the gold medal, and Zukhriddin Qodirov won the silver medal.
