Uzbekistan expands employment cooperation with Japan

A meeting was held in Tokyo between Behzod Musayev, Director of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Ryuji Suzuki, Director of Proud Partners (Japan).

The results of a selection process were discussed, in which more than 200 candidates holding Category B-C driving licenses and expressing a desire to work in Japan took part.

A total of 166 candidates were given the opportunity to participate in the “Study + Work” program. The parties also outlined plans for cooperation in 2026. In particular, issues related to expanding the program's scope, strengthening candidate training, and introducing new areas aligned with the requirements of the Japanese labor market were considered.
