Uzbekistan establishes “Mehr-Sakhovat” badge

The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on establishment of “Mehr-Sakhovat” badge was adopted on May 26, 2020.

The badge is awarded to Uzbekistan citizens for courage and bravery shown in overcoming the trials that our people had to endure during the widespread coronavirus pandemic, which became a global threat, while eliminating the consequences of various natural disasters and emergencies; worthy continuation and development of such high spiritual values and traditions of our people as mercy, generosity and kindness; a great contribution to turning into a nationwide movement activities to comprehensively support socially vulnerable segments of the population; effective distribution of charitable funds, initiative in providing timely gratuitous assistance to the population in a difficult situation; active participation shown in today’s difficult times in strengthening the atmosphere of peace, tranquility, unity and mutual understanding in our society; an example of charity and good deeds.
Persons who are not citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan may also be awarded the “Mehr-Sakhovat” badge.
