The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Botswana Lemogang Kwape, in New York.

“Together with H.E. Lemogang Kwape, Botswana Minister of Foreign Affairs, we signed the Joint Communique on establishing diplomatic relations. Commend Botswana’s fast economic growth over the years. Agreed to facilitate more active collaboration among both public and private sector representatives of both nations” Uzbek FM said.

Botswana, located in South Africa, has become the 153rd country with which Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations.
