Delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by Director of the Center for Innovations, Technologies and Strategies under the Ministry of Public Education Rustam Karimjonov attended the Education World Forum in London.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, this year the forum, annually organized with the support of the British government, was attended by 1.2 thousand delegates from 95 countries.

At the forum, Uzbekistan delegation informed about the development of the educational sector of the country, the efforts of the government to modernize it, with emphasis on ensuring quality, universal coverage and continuing education.

With the assistance of the Embassy, negotiations were organized with representatives of British relevant government agencies and organizations. Issues of expanding Uzbekistan – British interaction in such areas as reforming the education system of Uzbekistan with the introduction of British education quality standards, improving the qualifications of national teaching staff, implementing the strategy of Uzbekistan to increase the level of English language proficiency in the country, implementing joint wide-ranging educational projects involving British technical and innovative assistance were discussed.
