A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Mirmukhsin Sultonov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association, is currently visiting Mongolia.

In Ulaanbaatar, delegation members became acquainted with the operations of leading factories specializing in wool processing. They studied production processes and received information on export potential. The delegation was particularly interested in Mongolia’s experience in deep raw material processing and producing high-value-added goods.

Representatives of the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association held an official meeting with the leadership of the Mongolian Wool Cashmere Association, during which they discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation. The agenda included topics such as knowledge exchange, joint investment project implementation, and training specialists for the industry.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the potential for producing yarn and fabrics using wool sourced in Mongolia and cotton grown in Uzbekistan. It was noted that this innovative approach would allow manufacturers from both countries to produce high-quality goods and access new markets.

Both sides expressed mutual interest in continuing their cooperation, expanding knowledge exchange, and preparing joint production projects.
