Uzbekistan delegation visited the Alabuga Special Economic Zone located in the Republic of Tatarstan, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

During the visit, the parties discussed issues related to the legal employment of Uzbekistan citizens, as well as ensuring safe and comfortable living conditions for migrant workers. The SEZ leadership highly appreciated the contribution of Uzbekistan’s specialists to the development of industrial projects in the zone and expressed their willingness to further expand cooperation.

During the visit, preventive discussions were held with Uzbekistan citizens living and working on the territory of Alabuga. Issues related to compliance with migration legislation, the registration of necessary documents, and the prevention of possible offenses were discussed.

Additionally, the delegation’s representatives listened to the appeals and suggestions of their compatriots. Following the meetings with migrant workers, additional consultations were held with the enterprises’ leadership to resolve domestic and social issues promptly.

Special attention was paid to spiritual and moral education during the visit. A representative from the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan conducted an educational conversation aimed at strengthening moral values, promoting interethnic harmony, and fostering harmonious integration into the local community.
