Representatives from Uzbekistan are participating in the Iran Expo, which opened at the Shahr-e-Aftab Exhibition Center in Tehran. The event has drawn participation from over 100 countries, including representatives from Uzbekistan, supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uzbekistan.

Products are showcased by agriculture, food industry, oil and gas, textiles, construction, and healthcare enterprises.

“Iran has significant experience in manufacturing medical equipment such as X-ray machines, ultrasound, and ECG devices. We have reached agreements on cooperation in these areas”, said Otabek Jiyanbayev, Chairman of the Association of Medical Equipment Manufacturers and Suppliers of Uzbekistan. “More than ten of our enterprises participated in this exhibition. It allowed producers to exchange experiences with foreign counterparts and resulted in mutually beneficial agreements”.

The exhibition will help Uzbekistan participants strengthen existing partnerships and create new jobs by establishing joint ventures.
