Uzbekistan delegation attended the OECD Eurasia Week
Delegation of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Prime Minister N.Otajonov attended the OECD Eurasia Week held in Paris on November 19-21, 2018, in order to sum up the results of the decade of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development program’s implementation on increasing competitiveness of Eurasian countries.

The event was attended by representatives of more than 20 countries of the world, as well as a number of international organizations and financial institutions.
The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a number of meetings and negotiations with representatives of governments of Central Asian countries, Afghanistan, and international organizations. At the meetings, the sides discussed prospects for further regional cooperation, including in development of transport and logistics infrastructure, logistics and trade.
As reported by the Press Service of the Ministry for Foreign Trade, the results of a number of OECD projects implemented in Central Asian countries, such as “Increasing trade and transport connectivity in Central Asia” and “Attracting investment and increasing competitiveness in Central Asian countries” were also presented.
