An Uzbekistan Culture Evening took place in Jūrmala.

According to the Ministry of Culture, the event featured a concert program with performances by Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Khurshid Rasulov, soloist of the group “Sakhar” Anvar Jurayev, and the ensembles “Khalqlar Do’stligi” and “Sharq”. Guests also enjoyed songs by renowned Latvian opera singer Inese Galante.

The event was attended by senior officials from ministries, university rectors, business representatives, diplomats, and members of the Uzbek diaspora.

Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia introduced participants to the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan and the prospects for developing relations between Uzbekistan and Latvia.
