The Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobir Islomov met with Henan Investment Group’s representatives.

Such current issues as strengthening cooperation in geology and mining, the implementation of new investment projects, and the formation of the raw material base of the energy sector were discussed.

The company’s representatives noted the international significance of the Belt and Road Initiative, emphasizing that this project has the potential to strengthen Uzbekistan’s position in the transport and trade system.

Henan Investment Group’s representatives also proposed developing a partnership between the two countries by opening a representative office in Uzbekistan, creating a permanent working group, and introducing innovative technologies.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to implement joint plans and bring cooperation to a new level.
