The chemical industry is a strategically important branch of the modern economy. It plays a key role in increasing the country’s industrial potential, expanding export opportunities, and providing the domestic market with competitive products.
Therefore, large-scale initiatives are underway to modernize the industry’s technology enterprises, improve energy efficiency, and implement major joint projects with international companies.

These issues were discussed during a meeting between Odil Temirov, Chairman of the Board of Uzkimyosanoat JSC, and Meng Qinglin, Chairman of the Board of Sinoma Energy Conservation.
Sinoma Energy Conservation is one of the world’s largest companies specializing in renewable energy and environmental protection. The company is also implementing several projects in Uzbekistan.
A 300 MW solar power plant built in the Navoi region’s Karmana district is an example of cooperation. In addition, chemical industry enterprises are gradually replacing outdated pumping stations with modern energy-efficient ones.

By the end of the year, Navoiazot JSC plans to replace six pumps, saving 11 million kilowatt-hours of electricity.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed in detail projects to introduce energy-saving technologies at Maxam-Chirchiq JSC, reconstruct ammonium nitrate production facilities at Navoiazot JSC, and implement environmentally friendly technological solutions.
Following the meeting, Uzkimyosanoat JSC and Sinoma Energy Conservation signed four agreements to improve energy efficiency, build new production facilities, and introduce advanced technologies in the chemical industry.
