The Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev met with the Rector of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzod Kudratkhodjayev, in Azerbaijan.

According to AZERTAC, the prospects for developing existing ties between the higher education institutions of the two fraternal countries, as well as the possibility of mutual training and research in the mass media, were discussed at the meeting. 

The parties discussed establishing educational programs between the University of Journalism and Mass Communications and BSU, which would enable students to receive two diplomas. Additionally, they explored organizing student and teacher exchanges, conducting joint projects and events, and training personnel in journalism.
