The Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investment and Tourism Alisher Agzamkhodjayev held an online meeting with the Chairman of the Türkiye – Uzbekistan Interparliamentary Cooperation Group, Osman Mesten.

During the conversation, it was noted that thanks to the firm political will of the heads of Uzbekistan and Türkiye, as well as friendly relations built on mutual trust, strategic cooperation between the two countries continues to develop successfully.

Inter-parliamentary ties are being strengthened. Special attention is paid to the exchange of experience in lawmaking, the ratification of international agreements, and the monitoring of their implementation.

The parties discussed the need to establish mechanisms for regular dialogue, expand direct contacts between parliamentary structures, and develop joint initiatives.
