Uzbekistan and Spain universities develop cooperation

Members of the delegation in Samarkand held talks with the leadership of the Silk Road International Tourism University and Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages. Following the meetings, the parties concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation between Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and the University of Nebrija, and an agreement was reached with the leadership of the Silk Road International Tourism University to introduce specialized Spanish and English courses for tourism professionals in the curriculum.
The delegation also held talks at the National University of Uzbekistan, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent State University of Economics, the University of Journalism and Mass Communications and Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Memorandums of Cooperation were signed between these Uzbekistan universities and the University of Nebrija.
Meetings were held at the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Issues of implementation of the agreements reached between the universities of the two countries, as well as implementation of projects with the assistance of El-Yurt Umidi Foundation, were discussed at the meetings.
