Cooperation has been established between the Navoi State University and Calvin University of the Republic of Korea.
Issues related to establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between the two universities in education, science, and innovation were discussed at a meeting between the Rector of Navoi State University, Muhiddin Kalonov, and the President of Calvin University, Dr. Hwang Kun-Young. Following the negotiations between the two higher education institutions, a Memorandum of Cooperation and a Cooperation Agreement were signed. Joint scientific research, international conferences, workshops, and the exchange of professors and teachers will also be held.

Special attention was paid to the agreement reached to establish the Sejong Institute at Navoi State University in 2026. The Institute, where students will study the Korean language and culture, will strengthen ties with educational institutions in the Republic of Korea and create new international educational opportunities for students and teachers of both countries.


This visit and the signed documents are a significant step towards expanding the geography of international cooperation at Navoi State University, elevating the quality of education and research, and strengthening the university’s global authority.
