The Civil Aviation Agency of Uzbekistan and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) signed a Strategic Action Plan for 2024-2026, which provides support for ensuring civil aviation safety in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, on June 18, 2024, in Paris, a delegation of the Uzaviation Agency led by Takhir Nazarov took part in the first meeting of the Strategic Council for the implementation of the COSPA action plan to improve flight safety in Uzbekistan for 2024-2026.

At the meeting, the state strategic action plan (COSPA) was signed to improve flight safety in Uzbekistan for 2024-2026.

The implementation of COSPA will be carried out with the support of partners such as the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGCA), the French Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (BEA), the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), ACI/ACI-Europe, AIRBUS, and the World Bank. 

Uzbekistan became the first ICAO state to launch a joint COSPA program with ICAO.

Uzbekistan and ICAO sign an unprecedented Strategic Action Plan for 2024-2026

The Civil Aviation Agency of Uzbekistan and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) signed a Strategic Action Plan for 2024-2026, which provides support for ensuring civil aviation safety in Uzbekistan.
