As part of his official visit to the People’s Republic of China, the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov visited the Karamay Cloud Computing Industrial Park in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

This technopark is one of the essential centers of China’s digital economy. It houses leading companies based on big data, artificial intelligence, and other advanced technologies.

During the visit, the Minister became familiar with the technopark’s technological solutions, production processes, and digital infrastructure. China’s experience in cooperation between the public and private sectors and implementing innovative projects was also discussed.

It is expected that this visit will contribute to the development of Uzbekistan’s digital infrastructure, the use of China’s best practices in this area, and the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the field of information technology.
