Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Alisher Shaykhov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan Mohammad Monirul Islam.

At the meeting, organized to strengthen trade and economic ties, expand the scale of mutually beneficial cooperation, and establish new joint projects, the parties discussed issues of developing cooperation in the textile industry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and fish farming. The opportunities for bilateral cooperation between business communities were also considered, in particular, the implementation of joint investment projects, the strengthening of tourism and cultural ties, and the attraction of qualified specialists from Bangladesh to Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of sincerity, readiness was expressed to support new initiatives and implement mutually beneficial projects.
