Uzbekistan Airports has completed an independent audit of its anti-corruption management system conducted by CERT International (Slovakia). As a result of the audit, the company’s efforts to prevent and combat corruption were highly commended.
As a result of the audit, Uzbekistan Airports was awarded the international ISO 37001:2016 certification, confirming compliance of its anti-corruption management system with international standards and the effectiveness of the anti-corruption mechanisms implemented.
The international standard ISO 37001:2016 reflects best global practices for the design and operation of anti-corruption systems, establishes requirements and recommendations for implementing anti-corruption management, and enhances the organization’s transparency and accountability.
The existence of a certified anti-corruption management system ensures mandatory compliance by employees with legal norms and the principles of integrity, honesty, and transparency in the performance of official duties.
Obtaining the ISO 37001:2016 certificate strengthens trust from government agencies, international partners, and the professional aviation community and confirms the reliability and sustainability of the company’s activities in managing strategically important infrastructure in accordance with international standards.
