This year, 11 experienced artisans are representing Uzbekistan at Bazaar Berlin 2024. In general, the exhibition gathered 500 exhibitors from 50 countries, demonstrating unique national products.

Uzbekistan’s craftsmen, working under the auspices of the Hunarmand Association and with the support of GIZ, USAID Business Support Project, and the Embassy of Uzbekistan, are demonstrating products that immerse visitors in the atmosphere of traditional art.

Samples of embroidery, hand-dyed silk and satin, glazed ceramics, leather goods, and jewelry not only demonstrate handicraft skill, but also tell about the rich history and culture of the Uzbek people.

“Buyers show great interest in Uzbek artisans’ products. An agreement has been reached to ensure the participation of our masters in the following exhibitions held not only in Berlin, but also in other major cities of Germany. I think this will give an impetus to promoting national values”, said Rasuljon Mirzaakhmedov, Hunarmand Association representative.
