
During his visit to Washington, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the National Security Advisor to the President of the United States of America, Michael Waltz.
The parties discussed a wide range of regional and international issues, focusing on strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States. According to the Uzbek FM, special emphasis was placed on cooperation in security, promoting economic progress, expanding regional connectivity, and promoting sustainable development in Central Asia.
“We appreciate the U.S. President’s continued support for Uzbekistan’s reform agenda and our joint efforts to ensure peace and prosperity in the region”, B. Saidov wrote in his Telegram channel.
The meeting confirmed the high level of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and the United States and their mutual desire to strengthen constructive dialogue and implement joint initiatives.
