Uzbek driver wins at Italy’s Ultimate Cup GT Sprint event
Uzbek driver Ismoil Ahmedkhodjayev, racing with Russian pilot Roman Rusinov, won a round of the Ultimate Cup GT Sprint series at Italy’s Mugello Circuit.
The team showed excellent preparation during qualifying and earned the pole position.
In the initial race, the team started strongly and stayed among the leaders, but a track collision stopped it from finishing higher.
In the second race, the team of I. Ahmedkhodjayev and R. Rusinov, in a Rossa LM GT, finished first.
