For the first time, the Uzbek Cinema Days will take place in Budapest on January 31.

The event is organized by the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, the Hungarian National Film Institute, and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Hungary. 

The program includes screenings of audience-favorite films such as “Ilhaq” and “Two Thousand Songs of Farida”, along with recently released productions like “House” and “Pandemic”. 

A delegation of filmmakers, led by Shukhrat Rizayev, Director of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, will attend the opening ceremony of this prestigious event. 

The films set to be presented to the Hungarian audience were produced under the Cinematography Agency’s commission and screened in theaters across more than ten countries, including Türkiye, China, Belarus, and Russia, as well as at international film festivals.
