The Xinhua News Agency and the China News Service (CNS) provide information services not only to users in China but also worldwide.

CNS is headquartered in Beijing and operates 31 branches across China and 21 overseas. Its three main news distribution centers are in Beijing, Hong Kong, and New York, operating around the clock year-round.

The Xinjiang branch prepares all types of news content, including articles, photos, video materials, and special news pages, publishing an average of more than 20 news pages daily. It also expands cooperation with Central, Western, and South Asia, developing ties with major media outlets in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.

In recent years, the Xinjiang branch of CNS has published special pages on Xinjiang in partner media outlets in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Since 2025, the Uzbekistan National News Agency – UzA – has joined this partnership.

“Our discussion with the UzA Director, Abdusaid Kuchimov, laid the foundation for this cooperation”, said Li Dehua, Director of the Xinjiang Branch of China News Service.

A ceremony was held to install UzA’s logo in the list of CNS partners. The event was attended by representatives of 21 media organizations from Türkiye and Central Asian countries.
