
The World Taekwondo has released its updated world rankings for May, with Uzbekistan taekwondo athletes holding leading positions.
Notably, Ulugbek Rashitov, a two-time Olympic champion in the under-68 kg weight category, ranks first globally. Svetlana Osipova, who won a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in the over-73 kg category, holds second place. Jahongir Khudoyberdiyev, competing in the under-54 kg category, and Jasurbek Jaysunov, in the under-80 kg category, are ranked third in the world.
