From October 21 to 24, Turkmenistan Culture Days were held in Khorezm region and in Tashkent.

As part of the event, the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people was showcased. 

In Khorezm Regional Musical Drama Theatre, exhibitions of Turkmen applied arts and a photo exhibition were organized. Craftsmen conducted masterclasses, and the State Musical Drama Theatre named after Nurmuhammed Andalib of Turkmenistan presented the play “The Flame of Confession”.

In Tashkent, Turkmen artists performed the same play at the State Drama Theatre of Uzbekistan.

A meeting was also held in the capital between the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov and the Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Nursakhet Shirimov.

A joint concert featuring cultural and artistic masters of both countries took place at the Uzbekistan Palace of International Forums.
