A meeting of candidates nominated to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and local Council from the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, with professors, teachers, and students was held at Samarkand State University.

The participants discussed the party’s Election Program and candidates nominated to the lower house of parliament based on the majoritarian-proportional election system.

“We are participating in this year’s elections under the slogan “Together we will build a free and prosperous, powerful New Uzbekistan!”, said Aktam Khaitov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP. “For this, we adopted an election program consisting of 5 goals and 500 tasks – all of which are reflected in the program of each of our candidates. Our program aligns with the President’s programs and ideas and the goals of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy. In particular, we prioritize increasing the number of entrepreneurs to more than 3 million people in the next five years, reducing the poverty rate by half, and developing “mahallabay” programs to attract the population to entrepreneurship. If you support our party and candidates, we will become a powerful force together and act to benefit the country and the people”.

Attention was also paid to other important tasks of the party’s Election Program, and the event participants were called on to vote for UzLiDeP in the elections to be held on October 27.
