The first “Central Asia – European Union” summit has concluded in Samarkand.

As part of this significant event, a series of meetings was held with the participation of the heads of Central Asian states and key European Union institutions.

The President of the European Council António Costa, and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, who took part in the summit, have concluded their visit to Uzbekistan.

At Samarkand International Airport, the distinguished guests were seen off by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and other senior officials.
