The leadership of the Ministry of Digital Technologies visited the United States.

Preparations for the UN Public Service Forum 2025, which is scheduled to be held in Samarkand on June 23-25, as well as the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan’s IT sector, were presented at the UN Headquarters in New York. The participation in the forum of high-ranking representatives of different countries, scientific and academic circles, IT companies, and cooperation with the permanent missions of the United Nations in New York were discussed.

The event will include high-level plenary sessions, workshops, and presentations of national cases demonstrating Uzbekistan’s experience.

UN Assistant Secretary-General Navid Hanif appreciated the digital reforms consistently implemented in Uzbekistan, the introduction of e-government, and measures to improve the quality of public services. It was emphasized that Uzbekistan is an example of progressive reforms in Central Asia, and the holding of the forum in Samarkand once again proves the growing influence of Uzbekistan in the international arena.
