Tashkent hosts the 150th IPU Assembly.

UzA and local newspapers have published an article by Abdusaid Kuchimov, Director General of the Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA), titled “A significant milestone in the history of global parliamentarism”.

An analytical publication on the prospects, essence, and significance of the event, as well as Uzbekistan’s reforms in the parliamentary sphere, attracted the attention of leading news agencies in Central Asia and well-known publications in Europe and the Arab states. The article was published in several leading foreign media, including General News, Kabar News Agency, Demirören Haber Ajansı, and The Gulf Observer. Türkiye’s Anadolu News Agency has published an article, “UzA Director General Kuchimov assesses Tashkent’s growing role in international diplomacy”.

Approximately 2,000 delegates from 181 countries, 15 observer states, and over 25 international and inter-parliamentary organizations are participating in the Assembly, which takes place from April 5 to 9.
