The World Bank, together with the National Agency of Perspective Projects, organized in Tashkent a roundtable discussion “Promoting regional cooperation through e-commerce in Central Asia”, as well as a conference “Elevating Global Access Through E-commerce in Central Asia” (E-GATE), within the framework of the E-BRIDGE Project.

Representatives of government agencies, leading international companies, and experts attended the event.

International experience in regional integration, particularly the activities of state and international organizations and the private sector, was used as an example.

The E-GATE Conference was devoted to sharing experiences in e-commerce development in the Central Asian region, discussing its potential to create new economic opportunities and jobs, and expand the geography of exported goods.

The conference will become a significant step towards strengthening cooperation in e-commerce and sustainable economic growth in Central Asia.
