The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic concludes his visit to Uzbekistan
On April 29-30, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš paid an official visit to Uzbekistan.
Today, at the Kuksaroy Residence, talks were held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš in a narrow format and with the participation of the delegations of the two countries, during which the current state and prospects for further development of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic were discussed.
Following the talks, a substantial package of documents covering several areas of partnership between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic was signed.
As part of the visit, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš laid flowers at the Independence Monument in the New Uzbekistan Park. The distinguished guest also visited the Islamic Civilization Center, the International School of Languages and Skills, and the Technopark in Tashkent, and took part in the Uzbek-Czech Business Forum.
The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš gave an interview to journalists, in which he noted that the talks during the visit took place in an atmosphere of mutual trust. The distinguished guest emphasized that the agreements reached would enable economic relations between the two countries to reach a qualitatively new level. He added that Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage and the pace of its modern development left a strong impression on him. The Prime Minister expressed deep gratitude for the hospitality of the Uzbek people and the warm welcome extended to him.
At the Tashkent-Humo International Airport, the distinguished guest was seen off by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, along with other officials.
