The head of the Vietnamese delegation conveyed the sincere greetings of General Secretary of the Communist Party To Lam, President ​​Luong Cuong, and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to the Leader of Uzbekistan.

Issues of further developing multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Vietnam, with a particular focus on trade, economic, and investment cooperation, were discussed.

The need to establish a systematic framework for intergovernmental and interagency contacts was emphasized. The importance of holding a productive session of the Intergovernmental Commission and a business forum in Hanoi later this year was also highlighted.

To promote new joint projects, an agreement was reached to develop a comprehensive industrial cooperation program in key areas, including energy, geology, petrochemicals, electrical engineering, textiles, agriculture, and other relevant sectors.

Special attention was given to the development of cultural and tourism exchanges, including through the establishment of a visa-free regime.

It was agreed to intensify inter-parliamentary dialogue to ensure the practical implementation of joint initiatives.
